The following case studies from a selection of our clients illustrate the range of solutions we offer.

AOL has proprietary software, plus an Internet portal at www.aol.co.uk
AOL wanted to provide customers local information in a number of their key channels: Local Life; Local Politics, and Learning.
UpMyStreet designed and built three different web pages for each of these channels, focusing in on the relevant content. We also included links into other AOL pages, making the solution really integrated.
Bryant Homes were re-launching their website www.bryant.co.uk after its incorporation into the Taylor Woodrow Group. To support the marketing of all their new developments they wanted quality local information content that could be linked to easily from each property, helping potential buyers make an informed decision about where they might live.
In response, UpMyStreet built a standard co-brand for Bryant Homes using their new brand guidelines. This included all the essential content that someone would need when considering moving into a new development such as local schools, shops and services.
Halifax wanted visitors to its property website www.halifaxhomefinder.com to be able to find out all about the local area for each property they had listed. UpMyStreet designed and built a solution that could be automatically linked from the postcode of each property, to bring up the right area information. This included ACORN postcode profiles, which tell customers all about what the people are like in an area.
Halifax did not want to lead customers directly to the competition, so we took out all references to competitors by 'masking' our Find My Nearest™ service. We also removed all external links so that the customers could stay focused on using the Halifax service and not be lead elsewhere on the web.
Maps add real value when the customer is looking at a property's location, and UpMyStreet also supplied these as part of the solution.
Halifax wanted customers to be able to find their local Halifax or Bank of Scotland branch easily. UpMyStreet created a new data block called Find My Nearest™ Halifax of Bank of Scotland, to meet this requirement.
HSBC have a home buying service on their website; www.hsbc.com.
HSBC wanted to add value and context to the area promoting their mortgage, home insurance and home loans products, by helping their customers throughout the whole home moving process with key local information
Security is a big concern for a high profile organisation like HSBC, and they have a stringent checklist when working with external partners on the web. They were impressed by UpMyStreet's technical capabilities, and our security measures met all their requirements. In fact, UpMyStreet were the first third party service to go live on the HSBC website.
nPower were developing a Home Mover channel for their website www.npower.com to help their customers through a potentially difficult and complicated process. One of the areas they identified as essential to a content service like this was Local Information.
In response UpMyStreet built a standard co-brand solution for them which matched their local information needs. This covered Property Prices, Find My Nearest, Council Performance and Contact Details, Education, Policing & Crime and Your Representatives.
Powergen www.powergen.co.uk had a link to UpMyStreet.com within their 'Moving' channel for some time, but recognised the benefits of having a co-branded content solution within their site. By going for the co-branded option they were able to keep their customers within their site, have the content in their own branded look and ensure that their customers were not exposed to any competitive advertising messages.
